I have good news and bad news about Decatur Table Tennis. First the GOOD news… we had a great turnout at last Thursday’s session. Now for the BAD news… we had a great turnout at last Thursday’s session. Apologies to those who were unable to enter the gym because of new COVID restrictions. Decatur Active Living is working on a plan to give everyone a fair chance of playing. This might involve holding 2 time slots per session. Rest assured, as soon as we have a plan in place you will be notified. I’m hoping we can have something in time for next Thursday. Please be patient.
In other news, many of you know a regular at Decatur Table Tennis, George “Coach” Cooper. His birthday was Aug. 14. I won’t say how old he is… suffice to say he qualifies for Social Security. Kim and Pierre Russell hosted a surprise party for George and a fun time was had by all. (See attached photo.) Thank you, Russells!
