As promised, Decatur Table Tennis will REOPEN this Thursday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. Due to COVID precautions, there will be safety measures in place:
1. All attending will be greeted with temperature checks
2. Sign in will be via QR code and/or Contact Tracing Form
3. Facemasks are required when entering or moving through the building,
or while waiting to play
4. We will have only 10 of our 12 tables in operation
These rules are “fluid” and may change due to safety guidelines.
In other news, Decatur Table Tennis took Bronze in the GA Games held July 17 and 18. Our team pulled off some upsets against highly rated players. If you can forgive my lack of modesty…I had a pretty good day. I took Gold in the 70s age group and Silver in the B division of the U2000 Round Robin. See the attached photos.
